Skandia

At Skandia, I led the creation and development of the company’s design system, shaping it from the ground up. As a Principal Product Designer, I took ownership of defining guidelines, streamlining processes for creating and updating components, and supporting designers to ensure consistency and usability across all touchpoints. I also played a key role in driving the implementation of a new visual identity, ensuring it was seamlessly integrated into the design system and effectively adopted across teams. Accessibility has been a cornerstone of my work, embedding inclusive design principles into both the system and individual components to ensure our solutions are usable for everyone. Acting as a bridge between design and development, I worked to align user needs with business goals, enabling a design system that empowers teams and delivers impactful results.

Principal product designer
aug 2022 – current

As a product designer in the design system team, I developed a clear process for updating and creating new components for the component library. The process ensures seamless collaboration between design and development, clear ownership, and a structured workflow from initial need to final delivery. The goal was to improve efficiency, consistency, and alignment across teams.

Designing a Scalable Wizard for Complex User Flows

I designed a new wizard to support users through a complex multi-step process. The work included user research, wireframing, prototyping, and writing clear guidelines to ensure consistency and alignment with the design system. I conducted qualitative usability testing and analyzed the results to refine the design further. Close collaboration with developers and stakeholders ensured a user-friendly solution that simplifies tasks while remaining scalable and technically feasible.
